Insurance and policies (tick boxes only)
2 min readUpdated 20 October 2026
Confirm insurance with tick boxes and keep your policy wording accurate.
Insurance and policies confirms insurance through tick boxes. It does not ask for insurance certificates. Keep statements consistent with the terms you actually give customers and update both languages when those terms change.
- 1. Open Insurance and policies from Your listing.
- 2. Tick We hold public liability insurance only if true.
- 3. Enter Cover amount (optional) if you want to record it.
- 4. Complete the English cancellation policy.
- 5. Complete the Welsh cancellation policy.
- 6. Complete deposit, payment and privacy policy fields in each language.
- 7. Review the option to share policies on your listing.
- 8. Complete relevant food, premises or activity declarations shown for your type.
- 9. Select Save and back to Your listing.
Tip: Explain deposit dates and cancellation arrangements in plain language. The insurance readiness item means the confirmation is checked, not that a document has been independently assessed.
Good to know: Where food declarations apply, the food option reveals a hygiene rating selector from 0 to 5. Alcohol, fire and activity declarations depend on your business type. Confirm only what you genuinely hold or provide.
